There are 5 married couples and a group of three is to be formed out of them; how many arrangements are there if a husband and wife may not be in the same group?

This is the third time I am seeing this question
10C3 - 40 is the answer

3 people can be chosen in 10C3 ways.

number of ways in which a couple is always there in the group of 3 = 8+8+8+8+8 = 40
