Hi,

there can be many ways..

most simplest is..

take Men, X as one combination..
so total seats now are 4...
so ways 4 can be arranged is 4!..
but the men can be A, B or C, so 3 ways..
answer = 4!*3 = 24*3 = 72..

another way

total ways = 5! = 120..
lets see how many ways she will not be sitting in immediate left to a men..
1) let her sit on immediate left to Y..
so YX is ONE combination..
total 4!,
2) 2nd case will be when she sits on the left most so another 4!..
total 4!+4! = 48
