It might get better than our batch. Isnt't it? We fight over this few years ago , sure it will be a long fighting process with them. Keep talking with Leeann, she would be helpful.

Dear cuhkstudent and Kelvint,

Thanks for your response.

The CUHK MBA Career Management Center consists of 6 full-time staff, who are dedicated to provide career support to MBA students. All of them possess significant managerial experience in MNCs. A well-structured Career Advancement & Management Program (CAMP) will be provided for MBA students throughout their studies. We facilitate their next career move through a profound understanding of their career interests and abilities, as well as development of the required management skills to fulfil their career aspirations.

Before the commencement of MBA Programs, 3-day bootcamp in Career Management will be organized for our full-time students. They learn more about their personality & discover more of their strengths. Students are exposed to the leadership and management skills training, and enhanced their business presentation and interviewing skills. Finally, they also got to know more about the market trend & industry insights through meeting with Headhunters and recent Alumni.

About 3-4 events will be organized per month for our students throughout the academic year. Some of the examples in the last few months include:

- Job search series such as Image consulting workshop, mock practice in interview, group discussion and presentation.

- Recruiting Talks by Microsoft, Novozymes, Amazon, DuPont, Citi, and Deutsche Post DHL etc

- The Elite Mentorship Program Kick-off Gathering was organized in early October. The Program is to provide one-on-one coaching and guidance to full-time MBA students for their personal and career development. Students are paired up with some of our most senior and successful alumni who are appointed as their personal mentor. They will share their insights and provide advice to their mentees on career advancement and professional development in today’s increasingly complex world.

- What-Who-How Series. We have invited professors, who have more than 20+ years industry experience in VC/PE, Management Consulting, or FMCG industry, to give an overview on the industry/ market and career prospects to our students.

- A numbers of Career Coaching Sessions are organized during weekdays evening, and our Part-time students are also invited to participate.

In the last couple of years, our effort was also reflected on the global rankings. According to the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2013, CUHK MBA program ranked No.3 and No. 5 in APAC for Career Progression and Career Placement respectively and No.1 in Hong Kong. Per our record for full-time class of 2013, 95% of students were employed by Sept 2012, and 85% of students received offers within 3 months after Graduation. (Remark: Some of our 2011 intake students have elected a 12-month accelerating program instead of a normal 16-month program; therefore they will be completing the program by September 2012.)

Interested parties may refer to our Online Career Center (http://mbacareer.baf.cuhk.edu.hk/new/public/index/ ) for news and events updates. Students are also welcome to give feedback and suggestions to mbacareer@cuhk.edu.hk

The admission office will be happy to provide personalized one-on-one consultation to both local and overseas applicants. Please contact us at mba-admissions@cuhk.edu.hk
Regards,
