Hi All,
I just crossed the first hurdle GMAT (too tired and stumped on seeing the next one, hopefully gmatclub will be to the rescue as before

Planning to enter the program Fall 2006. Quick summary of case below the questions:

1. Would applying to top tier schools be a good choice? or a mix of tierI and tierII?

2. How does Kellogs evening mba compare with normal mba?

3. So far I have looked at Kellogs, Wharton (tier i) and
haas and tucks (tier ii)

4. What additional steps would enhance the aplication? (plan to take some
business classes from local community college).

Summary:
=========
GMAT : 680(Q49V34 i.e. 90/72 percentile)
Experience : 7years.
Currrently : Lead position - team of 6 - major US firm.
PG GPA: 3.5
UG GPA: 3.9

Part-time writer(hopefully essays can be good), published books and journals. Some social service.Planning to take some MBA classes.

later,

Sounds like you would be a competitive candidate at the schools that you mentioned. BTW, it's "Kellogg" not "Kellogs".
