Hi nik256.
It's common for people to need more than 2 minute each to answer CR questions as they are training. In fact, I strongly recommend spending all the time you need to carefully analyze each CR practice question as you're training, even if you need 10 minutes or more to answer some questions.
To speed up, you can
- learn strategies for answering each type of CR question. By having a clear strategy for answering each type of CR question, you'll answer the questions more efficiently than you will if you work your way to correct answers without knowing in advance how you're going to do so.
- continue to practice to learn to see more precisely what's going on in the questions. The better you are at seeing what's going on in CR questions, the faster you'll answer them. In fact, by practicing untimed and shooting for very high accuracy, you'll speed up since the same skills that you develop in working to achieve high accuracy you'll be able to use to answer CR questions quickly.
For some other ideas you can use to speed up in CR and in GMAT verbal in general, see this post.
