Answer must be C, because that is the only choice which speaks sense and in which the modifier is not misplaced. In A, the modifiee namely the school seems to want to enjoy marine life and to learn.... Less said is better about B,D,and E.

Here is my take.

A can not be the answer as so that is used to indicate cause-effect relationship.

B- sea animals are not human, they possess human traits.

C- seems correct.

D- they arranged field trips not because marine life shares certain traits but because they wanted kids to learn about it. Changes the meaning.

E- incorrect use of from X to Y idiom. It doesn't explain what is from X to Y as noun following opening modifier is school.
