I agree with the idiom "To X is to Y".
However, I am unsure about "read of", is it a correct idiom?

Although, "read of" sounds awkward to me.
A basic rule in GMAT Grammar indicates that an infinitive can be parallel only with another infinitive.

I think I deserve kudos 8-)
