Hello experts,
I am an NIT graduate with 4 years of work-ex. I gave my GMAT on Sunday and scored 720.
I wish to apply in R2 cycle with most of the deadlines lying from 4th January to 15th January. Can you please help me with the following:
1. Being a graduate from NIT, is TOEFL required? I have seen for most (almost all) of the B schools stating that your medium of UG should have been English, whihc for IIT's and NIT's is. It will be great if you can shed some light on this.
2. If indeed it is required, when should one take it? I looked for available slots and I could find 9th Jan 16 for TOEFL and IELTS as the earliest available dates. This been the case, how do B school treat this.
Let me know if you need any more info. Appreciate if someone can answer my questions. Running short of time.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I am not quite sure of getting your enquiry. However, whether TOEFL is required you can take a look on the University website you are appliing to. Moreover, in general they provide a split among the sections.

A good score for top universities is at least 100 with 25 in every TOEFL section. Some universities want at least 26 in the speaking section or more.

See my resources to find useful study material best-resources-to-tackle-each-section-of-the-toefl-ibt-144802.html

Hope the best
