# Too presumptuous?

Would it be considered too presumptuous / cocky to end the last application essay with something along the lines of "I look forward to being part of xxx's student body next year", or is that acceptable essay etiquette?

I'd word it ever so slightly different - "I am excited at the opportunity to be part ...."
