I will have a JD from mid-range school and a class standing in most likely the top5%. I have decided that I'd like to get an MBA, but have no work experience outside of summer internships. Has anyone gotten into a top 30 with a similar background? What are my chances? (i.e. is it worth it to apply?) Thanks.

If you're graduating top 5% from any law school, even mid-tier, I would think you'd be competitive for a job at most top firms - Cravath, Skadden, Gibson Dunn, Sullivan & Cromwell etc. Why are you seeking to pile on additional debt and delay your career two more years for another degree? That's what most schools are going to wonder when they debate your admission.

Lack of work experience won't help either.
