1. " To determine " = Correct as per standard english usage.
2. Whether = Includes a choice or alternative.
3. Those = Correctly refers to flowers

flowers that contain nectar = X
those that do not = y

Correct idiom :- Discriminate between X and Y

B , C , D are left.

C is awkward because it uses " For determining "..

D is awkward because it uses "Because of wanting.."

B is the correct answer.
