Titleist, are you just trying to boost your posts to get a title promotion? At how many posts do you get the next title anyways? Is it 125?

No - hahaha. I could care less about that - I don't even know when my next promotion is. I just discovered the emoticons - they're quite nifty! Anyhoo, quiet today - no one with a GMAT question. What gives? People actually getting out tonight?

I guess we're the usual suspects hanging around in the salt mines.

Yeah, I'm bored too. That means it's a good time to take a practice test. I'll be back in a few hours.

Oh my God! Just finished my 4th Kaplan test CD2004 and obtained a ridiculous 550. I definitely had problems concentrating but to that extent... Now I feel somewhat stupid. 550 is a killer!

Paul,
I wouldn't worry about it. You're a smart guy - it's the test and it's saturday night. I got a 610 a few days ago on the Kaplan test myself. I would take the kaplan scores with a grain of salt. Besides-I did much worse than you did today - I didn't even bother showing up for my practice test. I ended up drinking a beer and watching Curb Your Enthusiasm - I knew I couldn't concentrate tonight. I'm pathetic. Feel better and have a beer!

Cheers,
Titleist

kaplan, not 550, is a killer

Well, so far my Kaplan tests have been 660-590-610-550. I admit that Kaplan definitely has good drilling questions however, it does not at all help you evaluate your potential real score. This is why I decided to buy PR next week. Do you think I should try that?

Absolutely Paul. Although PR does have foibles of its own. It's good to just practice as many tests as possible. You'll find PR just a little more reasonable than Kaplan - it's math section is not as challenging though - but the verbal is somewhat more challenging than kaplan's.

PR keeps you on the edge, + or - comparative to OG. PR is good to go for.

Oh Titleist, by the way, how can PR's verbal be more challenging than Kaplan? Kaplan is really the hardest and most convoluted questions that I have ever read. I think what you meant was that PR was more similar to PR for the verbal section.

Yes Paul that was my intention. You're still pretty sharp from the exam - I'm still dull from my beer(s) as you can see. I can see that you're a wiz at CR.

Also try the 800score exams as well - not as good but still practice material!
