I think this is E.

"as likely as" is better than "equally likely as". A, B and C out.

Out of D and E, E is clear and concise because of "likely to exceed"

I think it is A.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

as the current one refers to the speed limit here.

E it is...

D compares clause with noun.

E corrects that and also uses right idiom 'likely to'

What about the ending of E "as they are".. Is it correct or is it a typo?

Am I the only one to find it awkward :

drivers will be as likely to exceed.. as they are the current one

This is ellipsis.

Thanks ps_dahiya, I was really sandwiched between D and E and was not very sure about Ellipses.

Is there any information, site or rules on Ellipses as I'd llike to get a good handle on it
