Hi All,

I did my engineering from India and for applying to universities here, can I get the transcripts on my own and send it to the college I am applying to myself or it has to reach from the college itself.

Also I just need to make sure it is sealed and stamped, is that right?

I am planning to apply this 2012 or 2013.

Please let me know

Thanks

You will not need to send official transcripts until you're admitted. Most colleges request an online version of the transcript to be uploaded to their application itself. As for the official one, I think the college has to send it in a sealed/signed envelope. But since you're from an international setting, it might be acceptable to just get the transcript from them in a sealed envelope and mail it. You'd have to contact the specific school for that.
