If answer B does not include "or equal to", could it have been the right answer too?

Maya's lowest grade was less than or equal to Darise's highest grade

Maya's overall grades are higher in case
Maya - 2, 8, 8, 8
Darise's - 2, 3, 3, 8

Darise's overall grades are higher in case
Maya - 2, 8, 8, 8
Darise's - 8, 10, 10, 10

E is not right.

Lets say M got 3 tens 10 10 10 but really sucks at another class and gets a 1

And the other student is not as bright in a few areas but is quite good in all areas 8 8 8 8 then we have a total of 31 and 32, with the steady and stable 8 winning.

C would be the answer assuming that they did not get the same grade in EVERY class.

buddy, u overlooked 8 part. E says, for Maya highest is 8. Where for Darise least is 8. Then who will have higher rating?
