Question - How Long will it take for A and B together to empty reservoir, Total time?
St 1: Time (A) = 1/2 Time (B) --> Rate (A) = 2 Rate (B). No more information given, hence in-sufficient. Possible Ans choice - B,C,E
St 2 : Time (A) = 90 Hrs, Rate(A) = 1/90. No more information, clearly in-sufficient. Possible ans Choice C or E
St 1 + St 2 : We have Rate (A) from St 2, Calculate Rate(B) using St 1 and time can easily be calculated. so Ans is C.
P.S. Do not waste time in calculations, we just need to know whether the required value can be calculated.
