There is no necessity for you to have prior experience in the financial sector. Lot of business school applicants are engineers without any prior financial experience. Your point of concern should be how to get into your target MBA school. 2 years of work experience is okay, but you need to have a strong profile which highlights your leadership qualities in your work experience and extra-curricular activities to impress the admissions committee. Along with that, a good GMAT score and GPA are mandatory. If you have a strong profile, then you can also apply to other top 10 MBA programs.
