Hi everyone,

I need your help in understanding adjective after a noun.

In MGMAT page 79 (sixth edition) I came upon the following sentence:

This conflict, so much more complicated than a conventional war between two states, involved no fewer than eight countries and twenty-five militias.

The part "so much more complicated than a conventional war between two states" to my understanding taking out the fluffy is just the adjective "complicated".

Is it possible then just to have the adjective words after the noun?

ex. The kid, lonely and hungry, went to the shelter.

I know usually the best way to write the sentence is "the lonely and hungry kid went to the shelter, but the way I wrote above is it a valid sentence?
