I would go with (C).

The comparison has to be done between "the male and female blue-winged warbler" and "the male and female warbler in most other warbler species". Only (C) does that.

I am not sure why (E) is worng.

actually the official answer is E. I chose C as well and don't know what is wrong with it.

E is best.

C makes incorrect comparison.

you have to compare "different species" of warblers.

want to take a look at C again
