People,

I would need an assessment of my profile here. Any kind of feedback would be of great help.

Profile -
Indian, aged 25
Qualification : B.E (Electronics and communication)
Grade : 7.2 on 10
Experience : 3 years in Information Technology industry
GMAT : 650
IELTS : 7.5
Intake : Spring 2020.

Please suggest the MBA programs that I would be able to fit into.

Good question and I hope we will soon have an easy way to search and demonstrate what schools admit people with similar background but for now, I would refer you to this topic: https://gmatclub.com/forum/all-school-s ... 66143.html

The easiest way to shortlist and identify programs is by the GMAT score. It does not mean that you are what you score - great people have been admitted with lower scores who have been able to communicate their greatness well (so don't incorrectly assume you will get the best case scenario unless you are a great writer and a great interviewer. Also, if you think you are great but not using other people such as alums, students, or consultants, then I would definitely not assume you can exceed and succeed while applying with below average score, though of course nobody is stopping you from paying the application fee).

Anyway, based on that table, your score fits around Top 40 and above. There are some great and well-known programs there. I would suggest choosing ones that you feel drawn to, that are close to any support network you may have in the country you are applying to be that US or Europe or Canada.

Here is one more topic to help you out: https://gmatclub.com/forum/how-to-short ... 69585.html

Good Luck!
BB.

Thanks a lot for that, bb.
Also, how good is NewZealand for an MBA ? Really curious about knowing what NewZealand has got to offer !

I don’t know much about NZ programs or rather nothing would be a more precise estimation of my knowledge.

Hi there,

You can find a list of MBA programs with Spring/January intake (including programs in New Zealand and Australia) here: https://aringo.com/mba-january-programs/

If you care about rankings, I didn't see any NZ programs among the top 100 according to FT rankings, or at any of the other global rankings.
