I started my GMAT preparation with a sample GMAT exam and found Verbal as my Weak area. Started preparation with RC (used Powerscore CR Bible and MGMAT) and I have started improving my score on CR part. For SC I started with MGMAT Guide and then moved to e-GMAT course. I am doing SC questions well on these books but when I start solving the SC questions on GMAT practice tests I am not able to increase the score.

RC I am not able to improve my score at all. By the time I complete reading the passage, I feel I got the summary of the passage but when I start reading the questions I am lost and not able to come close to the questions.

I tried to identify where am I going wrong and I feel that I am going wrong because I am jumping to solve the questions soon without completing the theory and best practices to solve verbal questions. I am planning to restart everything freshly for the verbal section from basics. Please let me know if I am on right direction. Any suggestions/recommendations/best practices will help me a lot.

A little background about me: I am an IT Architect having more than 8 years of experience. I am planning for one year MBA (INSEAD, IMD, ISB etc..)
