Hello,

Can anyone of you please suggest which is better: Veritas classroom prep course or manhattangmat online course?

I need more help in Verbal section. Currently, I score 25 in powerprep, and my goal is to score 45. I need help in acing this, hence I am thinking about taking a course. My quant score is 46 in powerprep and I need little push to score 50 plus.

Has anyone taken Veritas course in Washington, DC? If so, what is your feedback?

Thanks so much for your help!

NM

Hey Buddy,
Hope this is not too late as I just joined the forum. I took the Manhattan GMAT actual class in New York. The materials are quite good. I just had my first test and got 640 (pretty even on both math and verbal). The course is quite helpful but not sufficient if you are shooting for 700 and above.
I am thinking about taking the Veritas Prep classroom course to help get me to 700. If you have done the Veritas class already, I will let you refer me to the class and earn the bonus money for referral.
Pat

Hi,

Does anybody know how good the Veritas intensive one week course is? I would actually prefer to take the 7 week regular one , but veritas doesnt seem to offer one in Miami where I stay.

Hey Patrick, keep going at it. It takes a lot of perseverance and hard work to hit 700+. It takes more than just GMAT prep classes. The classes are good in giving you a solid grounding in the basics, but after that, you'll need to work a whole lot more on your own to hit that divine score.
