... should i target?
I always had this notion that i wanted to get into finance/IB but the more i researched it, the more i found out that that type of life isn't for me. I spent about a month researching careers/MBA concentrations and brand/product management sound extremely attractive to me. From what i've gathered, this falls area of specialization falls under marketing. It seems to me that the top marketing programs would be schools like Kellogg and Fuqua. I highly doubt i could get into their fulltime programs though (although i might have a shot at their part-time programs). I noticed that Wisconsin has an MBA specialization that is totally dedicated to brand/product management though and it has me extremely interested.
[edit: dang, i wanted to link to the website, but i'm too new]
So i guess my question is, given that i'm currently an accountant for a fortune 500 that has no marketing experience:
1) Should i target a higher tier school, or should i go with a school like wisconsin which has a program dedicated to the specialization that i'm interested in?
2) What other schools does anyone suggest i like at for this specialization?
Thanks in advance
