Hi

First I want to that everyone here, I have gained lot of valuable information from you all.

I have been preparing for GMAT for around a month now I have done all this:

1> Studied from manhattangmat SC, OG and other free material available. I find OG simpler and therfore I didnt try it compelety, I have studied from kaplan books also.

2> for practice test I have done GMAT club test, good for quant. and I grockit practice for verbal.

3> I scored 670 (v 33, q48) in manhattangmat 1st test, I know I am good at quant ..but verbal is really bad.

I have tried to identified my problem with verbal. I think I solve problem individually better but while giving the test which are adaptive in nature I make more mistakes especially to the end.

I think that my fundamentals of verbal are decent if not excellent, only problem is time management .

Please tell me how should I improve my score I have been trying very hard but its difficult to cross the 40 mark in verbal, I am aiming at 750.

Should I give more verbal test which are adaptive? if yes can you suggest which practice CAT is best for ONLY for verbal.

Welcome to GMAT Club and congrats on your first post!

i would recommend looking at these 2 posts:
1. study-plan-for-verbal-gmat-98342.html
2. timing-strategies-on-the-gmat-80176.html

You need to figure out what area in verbal is the strongest for you and work in 2 directions - perfecting your strength and then working on your weaknesses. RC is usually the hardest.

Finally, here is one post/suggestion: GMAT Fiction.
