Well....I think I lost the match again.

My score is 650 with Quant 49 and verbal 29. I went in with an expectation of atleast 680+ and came back with a reality of 650. Anyhow..... GMAT is now done and over.

Now I have to see how best I have to do for my apps......

Thank you all for encouraging me all the way during my preparation. Will try posting a debrief......very soon.

mrsmarthi, I wouldn't say you lost the match at all. Great job increasing your score. There are plenty of top schools where 650 is in the 80% band. I guess it depends on where you are applying. Your score is solid and if adcom has any concerns it certainly won't be about your ability to do math.

I guess what I am saying is don't hang your head ... you'll be just fine.

Hi Mrsmarthi,

First of all, congrats on getting it done, and over with. Second, you do have a very solid Quant score, which is great -- it shows that there are no doubts about how much analytical stuff you can handle.

I know you feel a bit disappointed right now, but give it some time. I'm sure you will realize that the essays are the most important factor, GMAT is just one tiny piece.

I say go out, and have some fun!

Mrsmarthi - Good improvement. You said you'd never visit your old score and you kept the promise!

What are your target schools? I guess ISB is one ?
