I'm an international R1 admit. I received a packet with two welcome letters: one each from the Assistant Dean and the Admission Director, and a third letter - a schol info letter from the Admission Director.

Do any R2 applicants know when we can expect to hear? Are they making calls on 1/15 or could we hear on 1/14?

In R1, they called some applicants the day before the notification date to let them know their decision. I assume R2 will be the same way, but I don't know that for certain.

Just got the email from UW- I've been waitlisted. I will get a final decision by March 30th. Ughh so long of a wait!

They asked me some really tough questions, or at least I thought they were tough. They will be familiar with your application, and questioned me on the weaknesses that it has.

Some noticable questions I had were:

"what makes you want to get an MBA now? With Fosters?"
"What is your biggest strength?"
"what is your biggest weakness?"

And so forth,

I have applied for R3, international student, have NOT got the interview invite. I am starting to loose hope :( should I consider this one a ding already?

I'm a U.S. applicant and have also not heard back. I'm a little disappointed as this was one of the schools I was expecting to hear from.

u0304047 I know! it is sort of frustrating, I mean I am confused whether I should consider this a ding, or they have different schedule for contacting international applicants. My time difference with WA is 12 hours.
