Correct Answer is A. \(7* (3)= 21\) (Hence quotient is 3)\(17(21)= +4\)( Hence remainder is +4)

The remainder can never be negative. Hence First add 7 to 17, becomes 10, again add 7 to 10 becomes 3. again adding 7 to 3 gives 4 as the remainder And 7 is added 3 times. hence quotient is 3 and remainder 4. A is the answer.

When 17 is divided by 7, the quotient and remainder are : a. 3 & 4 b. 2 & 3 c. 4 & 3 d. 3 & 2 e. 2 & 3
Quotient = 7* Divisor + remainder 17 = 7(divisor) + remainder 0r, 17= 7*3 + 4
so A fits the bill

Clearly Answer Is a)3 and 4 because when 17 is dived by 7 we will take 3 as quotient then we will get +4 as remainder

The best way to do this type of question is to analyze the following statement:
A= pQ + R where Q is the quotient and R is the remainder
We know that A=17 And P=7
SO any number that fits in the equation is the answer.
ONly Option A satisfies the equation. 7*3+(4)=17
Since the remainder can be negative, the positive one can be (3).

N= q.m + r
17 = 3*7 + 4 where m is the divisor, q = quotient, r = remainder and N is the dividend. Hence the answer is 3 and 4 option A
