What are the greatest and smallest positive differences between any of the factors of 210?

A. 103 and 1
B. 209 and 0
C. 210 and 1
D. 103 and 11
E. 209 and 1

210, when prime-factorized gives is 2*3*5*7.

The greatest positive difference between any of the factors is 210 - 1 = 209 (210*1 = 210)
2 and 3 are also factors of 210, and the smallest positive difference(any of the factors) is 3 - 2 = 1

Therefore, the greatest and smallest positive difference between any of the factors of 210 is 209 and 1(Option E)

The biggest factor of 210 = 210.
The smallest factor of 210 = 1.
Therefore greatest difference between the factors = 210-1= 209.

The smallest factor = 1. The next bigger factor than 1 = 2.
Therefore smallest difference = 2-1 =1.

Hence, E.
