Hi,
I am in desperate need of your help! I am generally an intelligent person. But having great problem with this GMAT test. I have taken it twice and am still unable to score higher than 490! I have taken the Kaplan taught course, all the study books under the sun & many hours of practice.

I have no problem understanding the course material, but for some reason am not able to score any higher on this test! During the test itself, I feel I am doing well & yet when I get the results its shockingly bad!

I am a lost case?

Please help...

well, what is your target score? understanding material may not be enough you have to know it by heart. Have you taken diagnostic tests? have you gone through your errors? If you took KAPLAN course, you have nearly free use of their library and material for a year I beilieve after the course. In the worst case, look for the school that will accept you with your score, and work on other areas of your application, remember GMAT is only one part of the application.

YES, I have used the KAPLAN centre & the majority of the material the centre. In fact I am getting to a point where I am starting to repeat the questions.

My main difficulty tends to be on approach, figuring out what needs to be done than the maths or the verbal material

I suspect you are not a native speaker, right?

How much do you have on Verbal/Math?
