I have an interview for a job on friday and I've been told to wear Business dress...
I'm 20 and a uni student and past interviews have been less formal, especially for summer jobs like this one.
What counts as business dress? Does that mean formal dress??
Would chino's be okay or is that too casual?

Business dress is nothing but the dress which gives you an executive look.

Business dress does not matter.. You want to avoid looking unprofessional.Wearing a suit and tie doesn't mean anything if you don't wear it correctly.A plain white colored tee shirt with khaki's or jeans. It is simple and casual.

The male / female equivalent of suit and tie. I always suggest keep it basic. Black/Grey/Blue suit and white or blue shirt. Nothing that makes you memorable either way. Your performance should do that

There is no schema for a bussiness dress. Some rules: avoid strong, intensive colours and patterns, be careful when you choose the lenght of the skirt (the best lenght reaches the knee) and the neckline. You have to look elegant and powerfull. :) Try to google some formal dresses. ;)

I can agree with you, the most important is to choose clothes correctly, use suitable accessories. And what is more you shoild feel comfortable.

I think it doesn't mean something special and you shouldn't worry about this)
Of course, to wear suit and tie - will be to much. But if you are going to work at bank - it is ok)
I think, you can wear just a black dress. As for me, this is the best chose. You will look elegant and formal at the same time.
