what is 0, Is it certainly not negative.

1. It is Positive
2. It is negative
3. It is positive and negative both
4. Can't Say
5. 0 is even but neither positive nor negative.

OA not given, I have framed this question out of my confusion.

x is positive if x>0. Is 0>0--> NO. Thus, 0 is not positive.

Similarly, x is negative if x<0. Is 0<0 --> NO. Thus, 0 is not negative.

0 is an even integer which is neither positive nor negative.

Hi,

Zero is even , non positive, non negative integer.

So, option (5) is right.

Hope that helps.

Hi honchos, I wrote an entire blogpost on the subject of zero, as it's one of the most commonly tested concepts on the quant section. Sometimes the property being tested isn't overt, so you have to figure out what is being asked. Try the sample problem in the blog below before looking at the walkthrough. If you get it right, you're probably on the right track.

Thanks!
