What is 35 percent of a^b?

(1) b is 200 percent of a --> b = 2a. Not sufficient.

(2) 50 percent of b is a --> 0.5b = a --> b = 2a. Not sufficient.

(1)+(2) We have same piece of information from both statements. Not sufficient.

Answer: E.
