(1) \(\frac{p + q}{p − q} + \frac{p − q}{p + q} = 5 \frac{1}{5}\)

(2) \(\frac{p − q}{p + q} − \frac{p − q}{p + q} = 4 \frac{4}{5}\)

Is statement 2 valid?

I think it needs revision.

Substitute a for (p-q)/(p+q)

a-a= 24/5
0= 24/5

How it could be correct.
