St1: 2m / (n –m) = 7/3 --> Value = 7/3 - 1. Sufficient

St2: n – m = 6 --> \(\frac{{(2m - 6)}}{6}\). Not Sufficient

the expression is equal to \(\frac{(2m)}{(n – m)}\) \(- \frac{n-m}{n-m}\)

therefore, with the information of statement (1) the expression becomes \(\frac{7}{3} - 1\)

so 1 is sufficient

answer A

If both n and m have same sign(+ or -), then answer would be D.

Isn't it??

NO, the (2) is not sufficient

if n-m=6 the expression become \(\frac{2m}{6} -1\)

there is not way to simplify, therefore we can't find the value of the expression

\(\frac{{2m - n + m}}{{n - m}} = \frac{{2m - (n - m)}}{{n - m}}=\frac{{2m }}{{n - m}}-\frac{{(n - m)}}{{n - m}}=\frac{2m}{{n - m}} - 1\)
