As the triangle is an isosceles triangle, any two sides need to be equal.
From statement 1:
One of the other sides is 3cm.
Which means that the remaining third side could either be 3cm or 6 cm in length.
However,
If the other side is 3 cm, the basic property of triangles is not fulfilled.
" The sum of any two sides has to be greater than the third side"
Thus, the value of the third side has to be 6cm which means that option A is the right answer.
