what is the perimeter of the shape? (in term of x, or if possible, a concrete number)

Lets call the slant/diagonal side C.

I don't remember the exact format of the answer, but I could not simplify all the squareroots to match it.

I got C^2 = x^2 + (x√(3) - 8) (x√(3) - 8)

What is the simplest form of C and what is the perimeter? Can someone find/verify the perimeter.

I have

CD = 8

AB = X√3

AC = 2X

ED = (X√3) - 8

AE = X

AB=√(x²+(√3*x-8)²)
