The product 4(3/4) is nothing but 3 given in a different form.

Coming to the solution, (3/4)/3 = (3/4)*(1/3) = 1/4

Ans is (A).

What is the ratio of 3/4 to the product 4(3/4)?

(A) 1/4
(B) 1/3
(C) 4/9
(D) 9/4
(E) 4

\(4*\frac{3}{4} = \frac{1}{4}\). Therefore the ratio is \(\frac{(\frac{3}{4})}{(\frac{1}{4})} = \frac{3}{4}*4 = \frac{1}{4}\).

Answer: A.

\(4*\frac{3}{4} =3\)

i am not following this explanation

They are asking for the Ratio of 3/4 to the product of 4(3/4)

1. Find out what 4(3/4) is. In a way they are asking what 3/4 of 4 is. 3/4 multiplied by 4 gives you 3

2. Find the ratio of 3/4 : 3 Another way to say 3 is 3/1 and antoher way to use ratio's are in fractions.

3. 3/4 Divided by 3/1 = 3/4 x 1/3

4. Multiply and your final Answer is 1/4 or A

3/4 to 4(3/4) is the same as the ratio: 1 something to 4 somethings
In other words, FOR EVERY 1 something we have 4 somethings
So, this ratio simplifies to 1 to 4 or 1/4

I can see some test takers seeing 4(3/4) as a mixed number by accident. Other than that, a very straight forward problem.

3/4 to 3 = 3/4 / 3 = 3/4 x 1/3(reciprocal) = 3/12 = 1/4

therefore A 1/4

we have to find ratio of \(\frac{3}{4}\) and \(3\)
so
\(\frac{3}{4*3}\)
\(\frac{1}{4}\)
