(1) At least one of the integers is negative.
(2) At least one of the integers is positive

-1+-3=-4
-3+-5=-8

insufficient

2)
1+3=4
3+5=8

insufficient

1&2)
the only consecutive odd integers that can have different signs are -1 and 1

-1+1=0
