ITS AN AP
COMMON DIFFERENCE d = 4
first term = a
nth term = a+(n-1)d
201st term = 2+(200)4
= 802

hence C

Since first term is 2 : a1 = 2. Now the difference between 2 consecutive terms is 4 => an = an-1 + 4 .

The 201st term would be (201*4)-2 since the first term is 2.

The correct answer will be 802, Option C

Using the formula a[nthterm]=a+(n-1)d
a[201]=802=> Smash C

The sequence described is an arithmetic sequence since each term (after the first) is a constant difference of 4 more than the previous term. To find the 201st term, we can use the following formula:

a_n = a_1 + (n - 1)d,

where a_1 is the first term, d is the common difference, n is the number of terms, and a_n is the nth term.

Here, a_1 = 2, d = 4, and n = 201; therefore, the 201st term is:

a_201 = 2 + (201 - 1)(4)

a_201 = 2 + 800

a_201 = 802
