Both the statements combined
The value of K can be 8,38,53,68 multiple values
So the answer is E.Please give me kudos. I need them badly.

When both statements are combined the values of k can be 15a+8
When a=0
k=8
8 when divided by 3 leaves a remainder of 2 and a remainder of 3 when divided by 5
The next number in the series is 23 =15x1+8
38 is the next Number when a=2
38=3x12+2=5x7+3
53=3x17+2=5x10+3
So K can have multiple values
Both statements are not sufficient to answer the question.
answer is E.I hope you have understood . Please give me kudos. I need them badly.

Ans is C .. both the statements combined will give you a 2 var eq. That u can solve but don't need to since it is a DS q.

2eq. Are cal using for. --> i=d.q+r.

Therefore, eq1= 5q+3=k
And eq2 = 3q+2=k
Both combined can give value of k.

Ans is C.

=> Condition 1) & 2)
k = 8, 23, …
Both conditions together are not sufficient either.

Ans: E

(1) tells us that k can take 3,8,13,18,23,28,31.....not sufficient

(2) tells us that k can take 2,5,8,11,14,17,20,23...not sufficient

on combining also k can take 8,23....

not sufficient
