What is the value of integer x ?

(1) X$$\sqrt{64}= 4$$

(2) $$x^2 = x + 6$$

Is there a typo in the question?

What is the value of integer x ?

(1) X$$\sqrt{64}= 4$$

(2) $$x^2 = x + 6$$

getting two different values of x from 1 & 2
#1 x= 2
and #2 x=3

are the stems given correct?

What is the value of integer x ?

(1) $$\sqrt[x]{64} = 4$$

(2) $$x^2 = x + 6$$

from 1 we can get the value for x as 3, since $$2^6 = 64$$

6/3 = 2, $$2^2 = 4$$

From 2) we will get a quadratic equation, when solved will give us 2 roots -2 or 3
