I x + y = 2x

II x + y = 0

D it is...

X^2 - Y^2 can be written as (x+y)(x-y)

1) x+y=2x

then y=x,

plug in Y=x

(x+x)(x-x)=0

sufficient

2) x+y=0

plug it in...stem becomes 0....

sufficient...
