Your GMAT, coupled with your experience working in the valley and the fact you are female will all be very attractive to b-schools. Some schools have a bit of an age bias, but this is less common with women, who historically have been perceived as not always getting a fair shake in the workplace vs. males and therefore might come back to school later. Your experience would also possibly put you in position to do an EMBA program if that interests you.

Thanks Bryant. EMBA doesn't interest me much as I have heard that it isn't to change carers post EMBA. I want to stay in tech but get into business development/strategy type roles and go up the career ladder faster than average. Isn't a full-time MBA better to move from an engineering role in tech to business development/product mgmt/strategy type roles?

Also, I am an Indian-Female. Does this still help. I thought Indian women are over-represented in universities.

Thanks
