time to travel the first miles = \(\frac{distance}{speed}\) = \(\frac{m}{v}\)

time to travel the whole distance = \(\frac{2m}{[5v/3]}\) = \(\frac{6m}{5v}\)

time for first miles + times for second miles = time for whole distance
\(\frac{m}{v}\) + \(\frac{m}{x}\) = \(\frac{6m}{5v}\)
\(\frac{m}{x}\) = \(\frac{6m}{5v}\) - \(\frac{5m}{5v}\)
\(\frac{m}{x}\) = \(\frac{m}{5v}\)
\(x = 5v\)
