When to take GMAT?? [#permalink]

I plan to take my GMAT exam in the last week of October.
Jus wondering if that will be a little too late to meet the early November deadline of some schools. It seems that the official GMAT scores reach schools 20 days after the test. Does this imply that the test MUST be taken atleast 20 days before the deadline. Will the schools be ok with unofficial scores, which get reported immediately after the test?

You should contact your targeted schools to confirm this.

Most schools are OK for you to take the test on November 5th, if your deadline is November 6th.
However, you MUST confirm with the school; could be a pretty big disappointment if you have to wait till R2
