$$B. \frac{21}{88}$$
$$C. \frac{77}{20}$$
$$D. \frac{20}{77}$$
$$E. \frac{78}{21}$$

17/6 - 2/3 = 17-4/6 = 13/6

6/7 times of 13/6 = 6/7 x 13/6 = 13/7

now 6/7 times far from 7/3 as is from 17/6 from 2/3 = x - 13/7 = 7/3

7/3 + 13/7 = 49+39 /7 x 3= 88/21 ( LCM of 3 and 7 = 21)

(A) imo

We have $$|x – \frac{7}{3}| = (\frac{6}{7})|\frac{17}{6} – \frac{2}{3}|.$$
$$|x - \frac{7}{3}| = (\frac{6}{7})(\frac{13}{6})$$
$$x – \frac{7}{3} = ±(\frac{6}{7})(\frac{13}{6}) = ±\frac{13}{7}$$
$$x = ±\frac{13}{7} + \frac{7}{3}$$
$$x = \frac{(39 + 49)}{21} = \frac{88}{21}$$ or $$x = \frac{(-39 + 49)}{21}=\frac{10}{21}$$
