A percent is an amount per 100, percent can be represented as fractions with a denominator of 100.

For example, 25% means 25 per 100, 25/100 and 350% means 350 per 100, 350/100.

Here we are given mixed fraction percentage value 1(1/5)% = 6/5% => 6/5% = 1.2% => 1.2/100.

Option C is correct answer.

This notation may be confusing for some, since it looks like we're multiplying 1 and 1/5
How about adding a space: "Which of the following is equal to (1 1/5)%"
(1 1/5)% = 1.2% = 1.2/100

If we substitute %=1/100, we get 1(1/5)%=(1+1/5)%=(6/5)%=( 6/5)( 1/100)= (1.2)/100

So, the answer is C.

My bad:
Thought question to be 1 * \((\frac{1}{5})\) instead of a mixed fraction of the form \(1\frac{1}{5}\).
1 * \((\frac{1}{5})\) = \((\frac{1}{5})\) itself , hence was confused !

Should have been able to deduce that question meant \(1\frac{1}{5}\).
:oops:
