Instead of calculating and risking making silly errors, we'll plug in easy numbers.
This is an Alteranative approach.

Say x = 1.
Then our expression is 1 + 0 + 1 + 4 + 9 = 15

A. 5 NO
B. 15 maybe, let's check the others.
C. 11 NO
D. 5 + 6 + 10 = 21. NO
E. 5 - 6 + 10 = 9. NO
