X+Y-3>=0 can be written as X+Y>= 3,

To find the area we can take 2 points that lie on line X+Y>=3
(0,3) and (3,0)
as we already know x>=0 and y>=0.

The line X+Y>=3 forms a triangle with x and y axis
area of triangle = $$\frac{1}{2}$$*b*h
Here B = 3 taking distance from (0,0) to (3,0)
H = 3, taking distance from (0,0) to (0,3)
=$$\frac{1}{2}$$*3*3 = 4.5

So, option D.

Basically it is asking to find the area of the triangle enclosed between the two axis & the st line - Y=-X+3

Point of intersection with X axis of this line is (3,0) & with Y axis (0,3)

So the Right triangle having base is 3 units & Height is 3 Units.

So area (1/2 * Base * Height) = 4.5

These equations form a triangle with base 3 and height 3.
Area = 3*3/2 = 4.5
