If you guys had to choose between University of Chicago, Yale and Darden, which would you choose and why (please rank all three)?
I know U of C is known for finance and accounting. I know Yale is known for its public, private and non-profit lean. And I know Virginia is known for its "general management" curriculum and case-based approach. But is one significantly better than the rest? Is there one that stands out from the other two for whatever reason?
Thanks for your input.
One could be significantly better than another depending on your goals and educational needs. Chicago has a very flexible curriculum. If you have a strong business foundation, you may not want to take a lot of required classes. If you are a "poet," you may prefer a less quantitative approach than at Chicago. If you want to go into financial analysis or investment banking, Chicago may be better.
Look at the placement information at all three schools at the companies you would like to work for. Then look at the curriculum for each school and see which would fit you better.
Good luck!
